Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it's alarmed in regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The support stage created for intervention ordeals a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
