The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed about the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area regularly. The company issue established for intervention ordeals a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend website to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance website services,” the agency said.
